Seeing the whole in detail
New to the market with outstanding image quality: The Axio Zoom.V16

The Axio Zoom.V16 is an upright zoom microscope having a long working distance and a wide field of view similar to that of a stereo microscope, but a far better resolution. At low magnification, the user can screen his entire object and, by operating the 16x zoom he can maxisimise magnification to recognise details, for example cell morphology. The motorised continuos zoom magnifies the image from 0,7x to 11.2x. It is configured in a way that maximal resolution is reached as early as possible: Within the upper third of the zoom range, the image has maximal resolution, whereas in classical systems the resolution maximises only at the end of the zoom curve. Moreover, the image's focal depth can be adjusted in a defined manner by the motorised aperture.
This outstanding image quality and the brilliant fluorescence qualify the AxioZoom for the observation and micropreparation of complex objects down to the single cell level. Spatial orientation for guiding the preparation tools is provided through a pseudo-stereo optics.
